A single mother of four was on a Las Vegas getaway with her fiancée when she was fatally gunned down during Sunday’s mass shooting, according to reports.
Canadian school librarian Jessica Klymchuk, 28, was one of at least 58 people killed when gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire on the Route 91 music festival on Sunday, the Globe and Mail reports.Â
“She’s a very good mother. She’s raised four beautiful children,” her grandmother Margaret told the paper.
Klymchuk was visiting Vegas with her soon-to-be husband Brent Irla, but the kids stayed home, Margaret added.
The pair became engaged in April, according to a post on Irla’s Facebook page celebrating the occasion.
“Since meeting Brent my world has changed, his smile is something I can’t live without and his laugh is contagious, I am so excited for our future together,” Klymchuk wrote in the comments.
Irla responded with a link to a love song by country singer Brett Young — one of the Route 91 performers.
