Tonight, the Red Clover Trio delivers jazz tunes at The Red Clover Inn & Restaurant on Woodward Road in Mendon. Showtime is 6 p.m.
Also tonight, Bow Thayer performs at the Pickle Barrel Nightclub on Killington Road in Killington at 10 p.m. The Stockbridge native serves up original tunes influenced by Americana, bluegrass, folk, indie and rock genres.
On Friday, bluesman Bob Stannard entertains at the Unitarian Universalist Church on West Street in Rutland as part the Coffeehouse Concert Series. Bob will perform original works, including pieces from his most recent album âGetting Older Every Day,â starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance at paramountvt.org or $25 at the door.
Also Friday, Josh Panda & Misty Mountain Hop take the stage at the Rusty Nail on Mountain Road in Stowe at 8 p.m. The group pays tribute to the music of Led Zeppelin. Admission is $10 at the door.
In addition Friday, Electrolads entertain with livetronica music at Positive Pie II on State Street in Montpelier at 10 p.m. Get ready to dance as the group celebrates their second anniversary. Admission is $10 at the door.
This weekend also brings Burnt Sienna to the Pickle Barrel Nightclub for Friday and Saturday night shows. The group plays all of your favorite covers beginning at 10 p.m. both nights.
On Saturday, Snake Mountain Bluegrass delivers a blend of modern and traditional bluegrass at Brandon Music on Country Club Road in Brandon. The 7:30 p.m. show is part of Vermont Arts 2017, celebrating arts in Vermont. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at brandon-music.net or at the door.
Also Saturday, Anthony B and the Bonfire Band perform with special guests The Big Takeover at the Rusty Nail. Join them at 8 p.m. for a night of original reggae. Tickets are $20 in advance at rustynailvt.com or $25 at the door.
Sunday, local favorites Rick Redington & The Luv entertain at The Outback on Killington Road in Killington. Join them at 8:30 p.m.
Also Sunday, Duane Carleton performs just down the road at his usual spot, JAX Food & Games, for localsâ night at 9:30 p.m.
Wednesday, the Wild Woods Music Co-op welcomes singers, acoustic musicians, and listeners to a song circle and jam session at the Godnick Adult Center on Deer Street in Rutland. A songbook of popular folksongs encourages group singing and music starts at 7:15 p.m. Learn more at wildwoodsmusic.org.
In addition, The What Dudes host an open mic night on Wednesday at Center Street Alley in downtown Rutland. Interested musicians are encouraged to share their talents beginning at 9 p.m.
