Brought together through a series of musical coincidences and collaborations, British folk-country duo DaysÂ areÂ Done could be described as a happy accident.
Over the past 18 months, singer-songwriter Emmy Kay and Bafta award-winning TV andÂ film composer Adam Lewis have composed a body of songs, mostly written in their front rooms in Kingston-upon-Thames.
An amalgamation ofÂ “old vsÂ new” vibe, their distinctive sound is the marriage ofÂ theirÂ shared influences, who includeÂ Nick Drake, whose songÂ DayÂ isÂ DoneÂ inspired the bandâs name.
