Days Are Done perform Colours in exclusive intimate music session – Telegraph.co.uk

Brought together through a series of musical coincidences and collaborations, British folk-country duo Days are Done could be described as a happy accident.

Over the past 18 months, singer-songwriter Emmy Kay and Bafta award-winning TV and film composer Adam Lewis have composed a body of songs, mostly written in their front rooms in Kingston-upon-Thames.

An amalgamation of “old vs new” vibe, their distinctive sound is the marriage of their shared influences, who include Nick Drake, whose song Day is Done inspired the band’s name.

One example of this is the song Colours, which they recorded in this exclusive music session in Lewis’s flat. And you can watch it below:
